1 medium size onion
2 small green chillies
1 tablespoon fresh root ginger
1 tablespoon ground coriander
500g minced beef or lamb
125ml plain yoghurt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon turmeric
50g bread crumbs
50g butter or margarine � melted


Finely chop onions, chillies and ginger.

Mix all ingredients except butter (margarine)
together in a bowl. Leave for two hours.

Light the Black Knight barbecue. Roll mixture into balls.
Place on skewers and coat with melted butter.
Grill until cooked.

For a variation of this recipe, place fresh
vegetables on skewers with the meat balls.
Certain vegetables may need to be partly
cooked before adding to the skewer.
Remember to leave a space between each
meat ball or veg/meat ball
