Serves 4 to 6


700g / 1.5 lbs chicken breast halves boneless and skinless
2 teaspoon olive oil
2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
60ml / 2 floz whisky
2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoon Soy sauce
50g / 20z brown sugar
Freshly ground salt and pepper


Combine all ingredients other than the chicken. Mix well.
Place the chicken in a shallow dish and pour over the marinade. Cover and pop in the fridge from 2 hours to overnight.

Light your Black Knight barbecue.
When ready place the chicken onto hot grills and cook for approximately 15 / 20 minutes, turning often.

Disregard the marinade.
